Quarter note, bar line, crescendo, rest. These are just an eighth note's worth of the music lexicon I've grown up with, since tasting my first clarinet reed at 10 and touching ivory keys at 12. The hymns and Gospel lyrics of the Church have sustained & inspired me, trained me and brought me my dearest friends. Whether it be my voice or my piano, a pen or a laptop, all are canvasses through which a creative heart can be heard.
